C4 Expert Presents at FDA/NIDA Workshop on Impact of Opioid Use

Steven Samra, Senior Associate at C4 Innovations, is presenting during a panel on “Health Effects and Daily Impacts of Opioid Use on Patients” hosted by the US Food and Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health, and National Institute on Drug Abuse on Monday, November 7 from 11 am-12:30 pm.

This panel is part of a 2-day public workshop on “Diagnostic and Monitoring Medical Devices for Opioid Use” and “Risk Prediction Devices of Opioid Use and Opioid Use Disorder – Opportunities and Challenges.” The purpose of these workshops is to promote medical device innovation through discussions with stakeholders to inform clinical studies for medical devices to diagnose, monitor, and manage individuals across the spectrum of opioid use. The goal is to foster safe use of opioids. Patients, caregivers, healthcare providers and other stakeholders will share their perspectives on using opioids, living with opioid use disorder, and important features of clinical studies for novel devices designed to predict, diagnose, and monitor opioid use disorder as well as prevent overdoses.
