Housing Stability Skills and Supports
At C4, we believe housing is critical to a person's well-being and access to safe housing is a human right. Since our inception in 2006, we have been committed to the work of ending homelessness.
Over the years, we have partnered with and supported service providers who work with people experiencing homelessness and housing instability all over the country. We can help your program, organization, and system support people in accessing services and supports and building housing skills.
We know from our research and practice that communities of color are over-represented among those who experience homeless. Our housing and homelessness strategies focus extensively on racial equity and drive systemic change through close partnerships with local communities and people who have been most impacted by service system failures.
Our team includes service providers, trainers, researchers, and people who have experienced homelessness, trauma, mental illness, incarceration, and substance use. Our work is grounded in our experience providing outreach, shelter, housing, Continuum of Care planning and implementation, mental health and addiction services, and health care. People with lived experience are included in all aspects of our work to ensure real-world expertise is embedded in all we do.

The goal of the Demonstration Project is to achieve racially equitable housing outcomes by centering the expertise of people of color who have experienced homelessness or housing instability.
Coordinated Entry Systems Racial Equity Analysis of Assessment Data
Nationally, people of color are overrepresented among people who are homeless. Stakeholders and policymakers are examining system-level factors which may be contributing to, reinforcing, and perpetuating these racial inequities.
