Nayenday Thurman, MBA, Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Operations, has twenty-two years of experience in social justice, non-profit, and government organizations. She has a broad set of skills for developing, analyzing, and making improvements in operations and finance and sets direction for human resources, contracts, facilities, travel, information technology, vendors, and project management.
Prior to joining C4 Innovations, Nayenday worked at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development as Director of Economic Development Programs where she oversaw $500 million in grant funding. She strongly believes in supporting mission-driven organizations and also volunteers in her community, lending her expertise as treasurer and mentor.
Nayenday moved to Massachusetts after serving in the U.S. Navy. With her love for exploring and operationalizing ways for organizations to run effectively and efficiently, she completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts.
