Online Screening Tool for Young Children Presented at Utah Early Childhood Conference

Carmela DeCandia, Ph.D., of Artemis Associates is presenting about “Using an Ecological Perspective to Screen Young Children for Developmental Risk and Resilience” at the Utah Early Childhood Conference on Saturday, March 2 from 10:45 am-12:00 pm in Ogden, Utah.

DeCandia and Katie Volk, Senior Project Director at C4, have been leading the development of Neurodevelopmental Ecological Screening Tool (NEST) for children ages 3-5. It helps service providers and parents in low-resource environments assess how a child is developing and identify ways to minimize risk factors and build resilience.
