Katie Volk, Senior Project Director at C4, and Carmela DeCandia, Ph.D., of Artemis Associates are presenting about “Developing the Neurodevelopmental Ecological Screening Tool: Bridging the Gap for Children in Low Resourced Settings” at the Annual Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs Conference on Monday, March 11 from 2:30-3:30 pm in San Antonio, Texas.
Volk and DeCandia have been leading the development of the Neurodevelopmental Ecological Screening Tool (NEST) for children ages 3-5. It helps service providers and parents in low-resource environments assess how a child is developing and identify ways to minimize risk factors and build resilience.
The conference is sponsored by the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs.
