Our Services
People experiencing substance use, mental health issues, and housing instability often face obstacles to receiving equitable, quality care. This is especially true for people who have been systematically marginalized by racism, poverty, mass incarceration, stigma, and other forms of discrimination and injustice. We know how to minimize these obstacles and foster lasting changes within systems and communities.
C4 Innovations partners with health, human service, and housing programs and systems to facilitate change and transformation. Working in partnership with people who have been most impacted, our work is grounded in:
- Understanding the impact of racism, discrimination, and stigma on people and programs
- Centering specific needs, concerns, and strengths of individuals
- Advancing recovery-oriented services and supports
- Responding to housing instability and homelessness
- Understanding, recognizing, and responding to the effects of trauma, including racial trauma
We are a diverse group of subject matter experts, trainers, technical assistance specialists, clinicians, researchers, and evaluators. Many of our staff have lived experience that informs and enriches our work. Our team brings deep expertise in assessing and meeting the needs of systematically marginalized people across the lifespan–from the earliest developmental years to transition-age youth and adulthood.
