HIPAA/Ethics Training
This training provides a comprehensive overview of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the ethical standards in Rhode Island that guide professional practice for providers. Participants will learn how to protect privacy, maintain confidentiality, and navigate complex situations using ethical guidelines. Through real-world scenarios and interactive discussion, this training equips participants to make informed, ethical decisions that uphold both professional integrity and the rights of those they serve.

Trainer
Anna Erdei, MBA, MA, LMHC, joined Bay State Community Services (BSCS) in August 2020 and is responsible for overseeing the Outpatient Clinic, Behavioral Health Community Partner (BHCP) program, and criminal justice and correctional programs. In her current role as Senior Vice President of Outpatient Services, Anna provides supervision and support to all programs in the Outpatient Clinic, including the Director of the Heart-to Heart Program, Behavioral-Health Community Partners, and Recovery Coaching Services. Anna obtained her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and her MBA with concentration in healthcare management from Northeastern University. She received her LMHC licensure in 2007.
