Equity and Inclusion: Navigating Systemic Marginalization
Online Course: Fall 2024
This course delves into the multifaceted aspects of equity and inclusion, offering an exploration of various forms of systemic marginalization. We will focus on anti-racist trauma-informed practices, gender-affirming care, stigma and bias reduction and examine other sources of marginalization such as geographic, linguistic, ageism, ableism, and religious-based oppression.
Course participants will gain a deep understanding of steps to implement actionable organizational change. Led by instructors with both lived and professional experience in addressing systemic marginalization, this course provides a safe and empathetic learning environment where participants will develop critical thinking skills, engage in meaningful dialogue, and gain practical strategies to promote equity, inclusion, and justice in their personal and professional lives.
