Kennedy Wilbert (she/her) is a passionate and driven Certified Youth Peer Supporter and Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist. Her content expertise includes youth and young adult substance use prevention and early intervention, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, drawing on lived experiences, and mental health supports and resources.
Kennedy is dedicated to uplifting and empowering youth and young adults and breaking down systemic barriers to accessing equitable and culturally responsive services. Prior to joining C4, she provided direct service to youth with experiences related to substance use, mental health, LBGTQIA+, and intra-familial conflict. In her community, she implemented the Project Amp mentoring program to assist youth in their recovery journey and help them build resiliency skills. Additionally, she has advocated statewide for equitable access to resources for multi-system youth and families in Ohio.
Kennedy has been honored to share her expertise on numerous panels, including NAMICon 2024 in Denver, Youth Substance Use Prevention Summit in Los Angeles, Peer Recovery Summit 2023 and 2024 in Columbus, and Taking Action for Wellbeing Conference in Philadelphia. She has also collaborated with The Ohio State University and YouthMOVE Ohio to enhance virtual Certified Youth Peer Supporter training in Ohio.
